The school closed for summer break from 4 to 13 June 2017.
Actually as per the school diary it was scheduled from 1 to 10 June 2017 but at
the last minute we had to reschedule it because of the His Holiness the Dalai
Lama’s summer teaching for the youth.
So the Class 9 and 10 students had to go to Dharamsala to
attend His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s three days teachings at the main temple
Tsuglakhang from 5 to 7 June 2017. The students who stayed back in the school
were taken to picnic by their respective Home mothers as per their own choice
of the picnic spots. This is mainly done so that children who have come from
far-away places and who are not able to go to their home to see their parents
do not feel home sick. The children for sure thoroughly enjoyed their picnic.
Thanks to the school and to the home mothers for organizing
and arranging such wonderful activity to the children!
